Stuck Again

Hudson managed to get himself stuck in our bathroom yet again. Johnny and I were getting ready for church, and all of a sudden I heard Johnny in a fit of frustration. I immediately went to see what the matter was, and I found my dear son once again stuck. Hudson had gone into the bathroom, shut the door and opened a drawer. The open drawer makes it so the bathroom door cannot be opened—only a crack. Last time Hudson did this, he cried the entire time and it took us a good twenty minutes to get him out. But this time he just wanted to be left alone. Every time we tried to open the door a crack, he immediately pushed the door closed again. He did not want to be bothered. So we left him alone—no sense trying to get him out when he does not want to be out. So instead of freeing him, we all continued getting ready for church; and by the time we were ready to go, Hudson decided he wanted out. So we talked him into shutting the drawer—thank goodness—and then we simply opened the door and took him to church. No tears.

I was glad we were able to easily get him unstuck. Last time it was a little stressful, and took us far too long to free him. This time was easy and completely stress free. I’m sure this is not the last time Hudson will be stuck in our bathroom, but thankfully he now understands to just shut the drawer.

So, what kind of mess did he make while he was in there?
