Sad Dancer

This is the face of a girl, who gets dressed up in her brand new dance attire, and suddenly finds out that dance class is canceled.

Breakfast in Bed

Elle made—all by herself—breakfast in bed for Johnny and I.

Hudson, not to be outdone by his sister, made—all by himself—breakfast in bed for Johnny and I.

So sweet, yet so funny.

Play Time

Do not ask me why, but Hudson loves to play on the door of the dishwasher—right next to the dirty dishes.

My Bubble-Blowing Valentines

Never Boring

Elle made a “green potion,” and Hudson managed to spill it all over the bathroom. My days are definitely never boring.

Snowfall

We woke up to this pretty snowfall this week; and although I am a little done with snow, it did look nice covering the trees and ground. Plus, when there is a pretty snowfall, Elle makes snow angels for Hayden. And that, to me, is worth every snowflake.

Opinions

Elle is now involved in tap and jazz. She seems to be enjoying it. I will have to wait and see what her formed opinion is after she has been tapping and jazzing for a little while. Hudson doesn’t seem to mind too much that he has to go and watch his sister—for an hour—practice dance steps. I think he kind of enjoyed yelling her name out periodically during the session. Elle, however, ignored him like a pro. She never looked his way or acknowledged him for a second. And that might be the reason why he kept yelling over and over and over again. It was a very pleasant hour. And it also helped me to already form my opinion of tap and jazz.

Handshake

Today, Elder M. Russell Ballard came and spoke to us at a special stake conference. After the conference, we all got to shake his hand. When he shook Elle’s hand he said, “What a sweetheart!” It made Elle’s day.

LOVE

Hudson-Worthy Puddle

All of this warm weather has not only melted the snow, but it has also created this gigantic, Hudson-worthy puddle. Hudson can spend great lengths of time riding his bike back and forth. He is one happy little boy.

Cousins

Elle and Hudson are delighted to have a new cousin, Brodee. They cannot seem to get enough of him. They both want to hold him over and over again. Elle is proud that she can hold him without any help. And Hudson, let’s just say that he needs LOTS of help. But either way, they both are enamored.
