The Gymnast

Elle—sadly—finished her last week of gymnastics (she is sad; I am just fine). She thoroughly enjoyed her time tumbling, jumping and flipping around. Her favorite parts of gymnastics—according to her and her chalk-covered hands—were the balance beam (mainly because she got to jump into the foam pit), and the chalk pit (this girl loaded up on chalk when it was time to do any of the bars).

Gymnastics really was a fun class for her, and I am glad that she completely loved her time—although brief—with the program. It is fun, as a parent, to see your child having fun doing something they love (and that is what makes all of the driving, sitting and rushing around worth it).
