Gross

As a mother, I am often required to do some rather gross things (actually I do this on a daily basis since Hudson is not yet potty trained). However, this past week I had to do what I felt was more than my fair share of gross things. In fact, I thought a few of the “gross” things were grossly unfair.

The first unfair gross act was when I had to dig through the garbage in order to find Elle’s broken Rapunzel cup (she was crying and whining, because she had to know for sure that the cup was in all actuality broken).

The second gross act was when Hudson stepped on a giant slug (he was freaked out, and I had to remove it from the backyard).

The third gross act was when Hudson managed to get his poop all down the front of my shirt (I didn’t know he had pooped at the time, but once it was smeared on my shirt, I knew).

The fourth and final gross act was when Hudson took off his soiled diaper, and then Elle stepped in it with her new shoes—disgusting.

I feel that I have had my fair share of gross acts this week—I have had my full quota. So maybe this next week will bring me less than my fair share of gross things—maybe.

Oh I so feel you! Yesterday I had to give Lily a suppository and then she literally pooped on me! Then later that day Hunter pooped in his pants (still working on potty training) and that got every where and then I just decided to throw the whole thing out. Finally Lily threw up on my which is bad enough, but then I saw a bug stuck to her chin! I think she threw up the bug!
Scary thing is, I am way to used to this kind of stuff, it didn't even phase me!
