Trouble

Hudson has been into more trouble than usual this week—if that is at all possible. I am amazed everyday at where his curiosity takes him. I sometimes think that I have seen it all, but then Hudson informs me that I haven’t, by getting into some new form of trouble.

This week he first informed me that I have not seen it all, by stabbing his eyelid with a knife. I could not believe he managed to get a hold of a knife, and that he then stabbed himself with it. Why? It is the question I find myself asking on a daily basis. But I was greatly relieved that he did not stab his actual eye with the kitchen knife. After I confiscated the weapon, I had to try to stop the bleeding from his new cut. And the funny thing is, he never cried about the incident once. He kept rubbing his eye, but he never cried. He is such a silly, tough boy.

Hudson next informed me that I have not seen it all, by breaking my DVD player. One would think that since he enjoys his Baby Einstein DVD’s, that he would not break the device that plays these beloved movies. One would think. But Hudson did not seem to think of that at all as he proceeded to ruin the DVD player. Luckily, Johnny was able to fix it later—though it does not work the same—but I still cannot believe that he broke the DVD player.

Hudson is my sweet, little boy whom I love very much, but I am constantly amazed at what he can do in a matter of seconds. I know the horror stories have just begun, but I also know I will never get used to them.

Hudson seems about on par with Austin when it comes to mischief/destruction. Have fun and don't bother buying anything nice for a couple of years. Haha! I want to meet this little guy.
