Swimming Lessons Day 2

Guess what? My timid, don’t get water on my face, girl, is no more. She can now get her head completely immersed in water with no complaints—and it is only day number two. She is still a little timid, but that too will improve. I am just glad to see her get her head beneath the water. It did take a lot of encouragement from me, and a little pushing from her teacher, but the end result was a smile.

I do have to give all of the credit to Elle, however. She did not want to do it—not at all. But she listened to me and her teacher, and she did it anyway. She was such a good girl. I was very proud.
