Pre-Birthday Fun!

Seeing as how Elle’s birthday fell on a Sunday this year, we decided to do the “non-Sunday,” or inappropriate activities today. This mainly consisted of Chuck E Cheese’s. Elle really wanted to go to the establishment for her birthday, and I must admit that Johnny and I thought it would be a lot of fun, too. With family in tow, we all went to Chuck E Cheese’s—on a Saturday; we must be crazy—and played games until we couldn’t play them anymore. I think we used something like 250 tokens—we are crazy. Elle had so much fun running from machine to machine to machine. She did everything to her hearts content multiple times. It was a lot of fun, and I have to say that the adults had just as much fun as Elle. There were many games that even we couldn’t resist. And in the end, Elle ended up with over 1,000 tickets. She was able to get a fun prize and some cotton candy. It was an extremely fun birthday outing; and luckily, the fun has only begun. Tomorrow is the real birthday, and there is more excitement and fun in store.
