Four-Year-Old Stats

It’s that time of year again—time to go to the doctor and get some statistics. I always look forward to our annual doctor visits (I like to see how she is growing and progressing); Elle, on the other hand, does not in any way look forward to such visits (Numbers mean nothing to her at this point). However, even though she was not wanting to go to the doctor, we still had a fine time. Elle got to play doctor, eat two suckers, and she received a Lion King sticker. For those things right there, the visit seemed worth it to her. And for getting her growth percentiles, the visit seemed worth it to me.

Her growth percentiles for the age of four are:

Weight 30 lbs (10%)
Height 37” (10%)

I was not surprised to find that she is still staying strong in her current percentiles. My little girl loves the 10th percentile.

At the age of one, her growth percentiles were:

Weight 19 lbs 13 oz (20%)
Height 28 3/4" (25%)

At the age of two, her growth percentiles were:

Weight 22 lbs 12 oz (10%)
Height 2' 9" (44%)

At the age of three, her growth percentiles were:

Weight 26 lbs 8 oz (9%)
Height 2’ 11.5” (11%)

All in all it was a good day at the doctor.

Wow can you believe we have 4 year olds? I still remember celebrating their first birthdays together and that seems just like yesterday. It looks like you guys had a fun birthday weekend, and I loved Elle's church dress, so cute!

She is such a tiny little girl! I would love to see Grace next to her. Grace is 36.5" tall and weighs 33 pounds as of yesterday and she's not even 2 1/2 years old yet! It sounds like Elle has a huge personality in that tiny little body though. Too cute!
