For Memorial Day (I know I am far behind) we drove to my parent’s house and spent the day riding horses and playing with their nine—you read that right—adorable puppies. We had so much fun relaxing and letting Elle and Hudson smother the puppies. Elle was in heaven playing non-stop with each adorable fur ball. Out of the nine puppies there was only one girl, which was of course immediately picked as Elle’s favorite (why would she want anything besides a girl?). Hudson, too, liked the puppies, but not nearly as much as his sister—the animal lover.
Both kids equally loved having the opportunity to ride a horse while we were there. Elle—the old pro—was immediately at home upon the horse. She did not let that horse out of line one little bit. Hudson also loved riding the horse. He even insisted on holding the reins like his sister, although he never actually used them. They were both very cute sitting up in the saddle.
The day turned out to be a lot of fun. The kids loved every minute of it, and so did Johnny and I. Now if I can only convince Johnny to let us have just one little puppy.

Cute little puppies! Ella is the same way, she always wants to know if every animal is a boy or a girl and then she will decide if they are going to be her friend or not.
