Family Home Evening—Eyes

Our theme for Family Home Evening this week was: eyes. We had a lesson from a story President Thomas S. Monson gave about looking through dirty windows. Basically we learned to use our eyes to see good things, and not be so critical and judgmental of others (a lesson all of us can use). We then made some googly-eye pictures (very silly and fun). And lastly, we made some edible eyeballs for our treat (don’t let the name deceive you, they were delicious). All in all themed Family Home Evening this week was a success.

I am really enjoying planning and finding creative ways to have fun and teach my children the gospel of Jesus Christ; but mostly, I love how together our family becomes on Monday nights (eating eyeballs tends to do that to a family).
