Our theme for family home evening this week was: snowflakes. For the lesson we learned that although snowflakes are similar, no two are ever the same. Each is unique and special in its own way (I know, I know, very cliché. But every child needs to hear this cliché at some point). We then compared the snowflakes to people. We talked about how no two people are ever the same. We, like the snowflakes, are special and unique in our own way. We then cut out our own snowflakes out of paper for the activity. And lastly, we ate snowflake cupcakes (which were both unique and different) to top off our cliché night.
