Spending Time Getting Wet

Johnny’s mom came to visit us last week, and aside from playing and spending time with her, we took time to visit some of our favorite spots—which ended up really being some of our favorite wet spots.

We visited Ann Morrison Park (a river kind of wet); we visited Lucky Peak (a reservoir kind of wet); Elle had a Primary pool party (a chlorine kind of wet); and we visited Adventure Island (a splash ground kind of wet). All four wet spots were fun and water filled. Obviously my kids really love the water; and they love to get wet.

Our time with Johnny’s mom was fun and all too quick. Elle loved every minute of spending time with her grandma; but after her and Johnny got back from dropping B off, Elle had puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip, with which she looked at me and said, “I’m not going to see B for a long time, and it makes me want to cry.”
