Elle

Elle wrote her own name today, and she is so proud. Her name now proudly sits on everything she draws. And she would have written her name sooner, but it was not until just lately that has accepted Elle as her name. Before it was always a wide array of objects, animals, princesses, and even mystical creatures; none of which were anywhere close to her name. I knew that if she wouldn't even allow me to call her by her name, she would never even try to write it. But now that she accepts—and dare I say likes—her name, she can now proudly write it.
