Family Home Evening—people

Our theme for family home evening this week was: people.

For the lesson we learned that every single person on earth is unique and different. We then learned that each person, no matter who they are, is special to Heavenly Father. We talked about how no one is more important than anyone else; in the eyes of our Heavenly Father, we are all unique and special.

After the lesson Hudson and Elle colored coloring pages of themselves, to help them remember that they are special and important in the eyes of Heavenly Father. Johnny and I then told Elle and Hudson some of the things that made them unique and special.

Then, with the lesson and activity finished, we ate Elle and Hudson cupcakes to reemphasize our theme (always yummy).

And in the end, it turned out to be a pretty successful family home evening.
