Family Home Evening—Streams

Our theme for family home evening this week was: streams. For the lesson we sang the song, “Give Said the Little Stream,” and then we talked about how all of us need to give just like the stream. We each have a capacity to give, and we tried to stress the importance of doing so to Elle and Hudson. After the lesson, we made our own stream and thought of something each of us could give—smiling, being patient, helping, and being kind—and then wrote and placed those items in the stream. After all of our gifts of choice were placed in the stream, we took turns jumping over our homemade stream (Elle and Hudson LOVED this). Then, lastly, we ate stream cupcakes, which were very yummy. And all of these items together made for a very fun family home evening.
