Mmmm, Mmmm Solid Food

Hudson had his first taste of rice cereal today, and as one can see from the pictures, he is in love. I have known for quite some time that he has wanted to eat solid food. It first became apparent to me when he would follow my every move when I was eating. His head would follow me up and down, up and down, as I would eat. At times I even felt bad eating in front of him, because he would want a bite so bad. But today was his day, and he couldn’t have been happier. He gobbled up every delicious bite, and I even had to make more. He would cry in between spoonfuls, because I could not get the next one to his mouth fast enough. Hudson definitely enjoyed his first taste of solid foods.

Elle also enjoyed the rice cereal. Yes, she wanted to try it, because if Hudson does something, she must, too. I didn’t think she would like it, but to my surprise—as is everything with Elle—she loved it. She doesn’t like chocolate, but rice cereal mixed with breast milk is mmmm, mmmm.

Jack is always stealing Davy's food and drinking out of his sippy. He eats any food I put on Davy's tray. The other day I got excited about Davy finishing a sippy of milk, since he's not a big sippy kid. Jack proudly admitted he had drank it all. Little Davy doesn't have a chance in this house.
