Hudson's Blessing

Yesterday was Hudson’s blessing day, and it couldn’t have turned out better (he didn’t cry through his blessing, and it doesn’t get any better than that). We had lots of family and friends there to celebrate the big day with us. Johnny gave a beautiful blessing—as all baby blessing are—and as I mentioned before, Hudson did not cry. I was a little worried that he might cry, because he does not sleep well in our arms. He likes to be sleeping in a bed. So, I was not sure how he would do during the blessing. Elle slept right through hers, but Hudson was a different story. He was awake, but he did not cry. In fact, he was quiet through the whole thing, and only fussed a little at the end. He was such a good baby, and the entire day turned out wonderful. Sunday was a very special day, and we feel very happy and blessed to have Hudson in our family.

Hudson sort of looks like a little Dakota. Of course babies change, but who did he look like more when he was born?

WOW! I guess I am the only one who thinks he looks like Johnny. Sounds like a nice day.

I love how many times you said he didn't cry. I'm glad he was a good little boy for his blessing.

I just couldn't help but laugh at your last post of Elle covered in "paint". I'm so glad that you could get all that off before Hudson's blessing. Could you imagine a sweet little blue/purple/orange/green faced girl in church? HA!

Glad to hear that Hudson did so well. I can't decide who he looks like now, but definitely a combo of you both. And boy is growing up! Johnny looks so proud! :)
