Too Much Fun

Yesterday, we attended yet another concert at the Western Idaho Fair. However, this time we included my mom and Dakota, and we let Bridget and Elle stay for the entire duration of the concert. The concert was Blake Shelton, with special guest—aka his girlfriend—Miranda Lambert. We all had a wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves—maybe a little too much.

Foreigner

Bridget, Johnny, Elle, and I all attended a Foreigner concert last Tuesday at the Western Idaho Fair. Technically Bridget and Elle only came along to help me save seats for Johnny who was in class. After Johnny arrived, Bridget and Elle went home to go to bed, and Johnny and I had a nice, relaxing date. Johnny loves Foreigner, and was very excited to attend their concert. He also proudly says Elle’s first concert was Foreigner—even though she only officially listened to four songs.

Fair and Rodeo Fun

Last weekend we went to the Gooding County Fair and Rodeo with my family. It was a lot of fun, and Elle found it to be very exciting. It was Elle’s first rodeo, and she was quite enthralled. She already has a great love for animals, so seeing them run around the arena was utterly thrilling. Of course, her attention span only allotted her to sit still and pay attention for a short time, but that short time was filled with delight and joy. The rest of the time she spent pretending that she was a horse—quite entertaining for the rest of us. All in all it was a fun day, in which we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
