Fun in the Sun!

Elle had another fun-filled day playing with Sage. Together, they spent the entire day swimming, splashing, and reeking havoc-with Elle being the instigater. It truly was a fun day.

I Think I Can, I Think I Can!

Elle tried desperately hard to climb a tree today. Her efforts were quite comical. I finally helped her into the tree, and she couldn’t have been more pleased.

I’m a Happy Helper!

Elle loves to help Papa with his yard work. She is quite the helper.

Cousins!

Elle and I got the chance to go and visit my cousins, Sage and Stone, yesterday. Elle and Sage are only a month apart, and they had so much fun playing together. Elle was equally excited to see Stone. Elle loves babies, and she was allowed to hold, touch, kiss, and smother Stone to her hearts content. All in all, we had a very fun day visiting family.

The Jumping Queen!

Once my mom found out how much Elle loves to jump, she could not resist getting her a jumper. Elle loves it. She can hardly believe how high she can jump with its aide.

Jump! Jump! Jump!

Elle loves to jump; and there is no better place to jump than in puddles.

Princess!

Need I say more?

Twin Falls Idaho Temple!

Elle and I had the opportunity to visit the open house of the Twin Falls Idaho Temple. We were very excited about the prospects of doing so. The temple was beautiful, and the spirit felt within its walls was indescribable. I am truly glad that I had the chance to participate in this wondrous occasion.

Old MacDonald Had a Farm!

Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O
And on his farm he had a horse, E-I-E-I-O

And on his farm he had a pig, E-I-E-I-O

And on his farm he had a dog, E-I-E-I-O

I love Riding on a Bike!

Elle loves to ride on the scooter with Aunt Bridget. They rode round and round the parking lot, with Elle singing, "I love riding on a bike," the entire time.

Boise Zoo!

Elle and I are up in Idaho visiting my parents for a couple of weeks. So far, we are having a marvelous time. We are enjoying ourselves quite immensely. Our first excursion, since we arrived in Idaho, was a trip to the Boise Zoo with Bridget. Although the Boise Zoo is smaller than the Oakland Zoo, we still had a lot of fun. The Boise Zoo has a different variety of animals that Elle has never seen before. She really enjoyed viewing the penguins, the porcupines, and the kimono dragon, to name a few. All in all, it was a fun, hot, and busy day at the zoo.

Little Firecracker!

We had an extremely enjoyable and very eventful 4th of July this year. Our day started out with me running the annual 4th of July 5k. It was immensely fun, and I was able to reach my goal of 7-minute miles. After that, we hit the parade, which Elle found to be the most exciting part of the day. We then went to a BBQ at Johnny’s parent’s house; and lastly, we finished off our holiday, with Johnny and I watching fireworks with friends, and Elle sleeping snug in her bed. All in all, we had a wonderful time celebrating our nation’s birthday.

Soccer!

Elle had another day of soccer practice, and she again did very well. It was really quite enjoyable to watch her try to follow and listen to the young coach who taught their lessons. Elle listened to the instructions fairly well, and overall had an extremely fun time.
