Anne Morrison Park Revisited

We decided to give the Ann Morrison Park another try, and this time we had a huge success. I even think this may be Elle’s new favorite park.

She loved the water fountain (especially because she did not fall), and she loved walking in the Boise River (again, no falling). I think she could have stayed in the river all day. It really is a beautiful river. She also got to pet quite a few dogs. It seems that I cannot go anywhere without Elle asking people if she can pet their dog. The Great Dane was probably the most fun for her to pet, because he was so big. All in all it was a wonderful day playing at the park.

Halloween Everyday

We don’t wait for actual holidays; we just celebrate them whenever we please.

Everyday Elle has to dress up as whatever her little mind conjures. However, coming up with those costumes can be a little tricky; and so we have to get very creative.

Pink Unicorn

I still don’t really know how we managed to find this costume, but we did; we managed to find a pink unicorn costume.

Elle has been choosing to be a pink unicorn—instead of Elle—for quite a few weeks now. Of course, she chooses to be other animals and characters in between, but quite frequently and consecutively she has been a pink unicorn. This being said, we were very surprised to find a costume that fit her description precisely. Not only is it pink, but it also has a purple tail—her other favorite color—and purple eyelashes. Elle fell in love immediately, and we haven’t been anything but a pink unicorn since.

And where did I find this costume? Well, I found it at the same place I found the lion costume: D.I. Elle has been begging me to take her back to see the costumes, and I finally relented—D.I. is not my favorite place to go, on account of the smell. But I have to say, I am glad that we went, because it completely made Elle’s—I mean pink unicorn’s—day. However, I think Elle agrees with me on the smell, because in the car she was holding her costume, and she told me it smelled like bum. I couldn’t help but laugh. Needless to say, we came home and washed the costume, and Elle has been the happiest pink unicorn around.
